Fitting a workout in while homeschooling multiple children isn't easy, but it does not have to be impossible.
A few years ago, I joined Beachbody as a coach and made time to workout; I no longer am a coach, I was spending more money than I was making. I'm not a natural born sales person, and I don't like being pushy. That being said, weight loss and fitness is a touchy subject. BeachBody products are still a big part of my life, they have the best workout videos in the industry - hands down. We loved them so much, we did the year subscription to BeachBody on demand, we also have the physical copies of P90X, and Brazil Butt Lift.
Don't get me wrong, I love these videos, but realistically even the T25 and P90X 3 that are supposed to take me 30 minutes or less, actually take me over an hour. Part of that reason is they are intense, and I have to hit the pause button sometimes, the other part is kids; the instant you start doing something for you, they need everything now. Which means, I'm hitting the pause button every 5 minutes. Frustration eventually sets in, and I throw in the towel. I think I have found a workable solution to this. It is called the Card Deck Challenge, it is posted below, and you can fit this in without having to hit the pause button, it fits in whenever you have time. It can be done in increments as small as 1 exercise at a time, just make sure to try to fit in a few every hour. Today I was able to set the time for 30 minutes and just keep working through the deck, I foresee stiff muscles in my future. Kids driving you crazy, do they have way too much energy and the weather is too icky to send them outside, this is a great energy sapper for kids too!
