UPDATE (6-12-19)
Trying to keep up with my blog, homeschooling 3 children, moving half way across the country, and experiencing Hurricane Michael is just a tad overwhelming. It's obvious, I haven't done a very good job. Just take a look around at how often I blog, it is pathetic. I am not a planner, I have tried, but it just does not work. We have and continue to make adjustments to our days, since our big move, planning has kind of gone out the window. We have a calendar with chores, and I print out a weekly schedule for their studies. Interestingly enough, we ended up with a 3 1/2 week break in October, due to Hurricane Michael, so we are playing catch-up. Therefore, this is the first real opportunity in months I have been able to update this page, I am going to try to add more Special Needs resources as well. There are also a ton of helpful blogs, facebook groups/pages and pinterest accounts that have been a tremendous inspiration. They also help keep me sane, when I feel like I am failing or just extremely overwhelmed. I hope the links offer you some form of comfort and inspiration too!
This is our 3rd year renewing our 1-year subscription to SchoolHouseTeachers, com for 1/2 price! The great thing about SchoolHouseTeachers is that you are locked in at the price you originally paid, even when the prices may raise. The prices have gone up a little, but are still an extremely frugal option. Currently, they have 2 monthly plans and 2 annual plans; the limited monthly membership is $14.95 per month, while the limited yearly plan is $139 annually, the limited plan covers preschool through 8th grade and offers 250 courses. While the Ultimate plan covers preschool through 12th grade, this is the one we use. The Ultimate monthy plan is currently 19.95 per month or $179 annually, very reasonable considering I just spent $149 for one grade level of a math curriculum. SchoolHouseTeachers offers such a variety of classes, we couldn't pass it up. I am so excited to use this resource again this year!
You can also check out my Teachers Pay Teachers Store, this is also a work in progress. If you scroll to the bottom of the page, there is a math freebie, it is a sample of what you will find on my store.
Please see updated info on SchoolHouseTeachers.com new pricing, at the top of the page.
