There is not much to write about shredding, other than my children would love to be the master shredder in our house. Although, credit cards are something else you definitely want to shred, shredding works way better than cutting them up; we definitely don't want anyone stealing our credit information. Thankfully, I've never had to deal with it personally, I have known two people who have dealt with it; it was a major headache. Especially for my friend from Mexico, even though she is a legalized citizen, she had to jump through major hoops to deal with it, including going through immigration, they also froze her social security number, she was only allowed to use it for employment purposes; they would not issue her a new one. With that being said, make sure to shred, instead of throwing away, anything with personal information on it, especially old credit cards.
