This is our last week of school. It is so hard to get motivated, and we only have 3 days left. Brick and Mortar schools don't do a whole lot the last few days, except some review and a lot of cleaning. This week we will be doing a bit less, they are still doing full math and language arts. We are also doing an Amanda Bennett unit study. The one on elections. I basically just make my first grader watch the videos for it. Today part of it covered Abraham Lincoln, so for fun, I found a Liberty's Kids video that pertained to what they were learning. My kids love Liberty's Kids. I am going to link to the video below. I plan on ordering the whole set of DVD's sometime, because they are educational and my kids love them. How do you get through your last days of homeschool for the year? Leave me a comment, I am always open to fun ideas!
AuthorJust a mom, trying to homeschool, and learning right along with them. This has been the most fun, the most rewarding and the hardest thing I have ever undertaken. It is more than worth it! Archives |
